Specialist Fruit Tree Care and Pruning

A traditional method of managing tree size by cutting back to the main trunk or branches to encourage fresh new growth. Often used in urban or roadside areas.
Stump Grinding & Removal
Once a tree has been removed, we can provide a range of options for dealing with the remaining stump. The most suitable method will depend on the size and location of the stump, access to the site, whether it is producing regrowth and what you would like to do with the area afterwards.
Stump grinding is an effective option when you want the stump physically removed. Using specialist stump grinding equipment, we can grind the stump below ground level, allowing the area to be cleared, levelled or replanted. This is particularly useful where roots have caused damage to patios.
Where a stump or its root system is producing persistent regrowth, Eco-plugging may also be required. Eco-plugs can be used to treat the remaining stump and help prevent further shoots and regrowth. In some situations, this treatment may be carried out before stump grinding, particularly where regrowth needs to be controlled before the stump is removed.
Eco-plugging can also be an alternative where complete physical removal of the stump isn't necessary or practical. The treatment delivers the active ingredient directly into the stump, helping to control regrowth while leaving the stump to naturally break down over time.
